Annex: Romankan
A Much-missed Space with a Strongly Nostalgic Atmosphere
We built Romankan to provide our guests with a stylish space that values the retro and nostalgic atmosphere.
This special building has been completed by the proprietress using her sensibilities as a woman.
The inside of the building perfectly fits the name of Romankan (Romance Building).
It is inlaid with items to give it an accent in a space of calmness that has a monotone and chic feel.
This creates the atmosphere of romanticism from the Taisho era (1912 to 1926).
You will be able to enjoy a space completely different from our calm Nagomikan.
Guest Rooms
There are a total of four guest rooms.
There are three calm guest rooms on the second floor (two of these come with a toilet).
We have given the rooms a stylish harmoniousness on the jet black pillars and fusuma (sliding screen) patterns.
There is a large room for groups that can also be used as a banquet hall on the first floor.

Building: Old Noritake Gallery
Old Noritake is the general term for Japanese ceramics made by Morimuragumi, the predecessor of the Noritake Company that was a leading ceramics manufacturing company from the end of the 1800s to the mid-1900s, and then exported overseas.
The splendid coloring, delicate design and outstanding processing techniques at the hands of Japanese craftsmen saw these pieces highly praised as works of art.
They are still today popular collector’s items for antiques lovers.
